Do you want to immerse yourself in the magical world of cava? We invite you to visit the Freixenet cava cellars. After a brief audiovisual presentation of the history of a family business we will visit the old part of the cellars, built in 1922. Here, the house guides will personally explain the process of cava production and will give advice on serving and drinking this sparkling beverage. Visitors will board a small train to travel through part of the 20 km of underground cava cellars. At the end of this journey, visitors arrive at the tasting room where they can taste the different cavas of the Freixenet range.
Very close to Barcelona, we find Sitges, one of the most picturesque villages on the Catalan coast. With the Garraf massif as a backdrop, Sitges is one of the favourite destinations for tourists visiting Catalonia. Its microclimate, with almost 300 days of sun per year, seventeen beaches, an attractive range of cultural opportunities and its exceptional cuisine and shopping options make it the perfect choice for enjoying the Mediterranean coast.
Guided visit to the Freixenet winery will be provided only in English
